The characters are so active in this story and you can see the pieces of the puzzle fitting together but author KA Tucker leaves the reader guessing until the end. Every detail is intricate and creates a unique visual of the buildings, locations and the characters. There is such a connection that pulls you in to Maggie and Celine. Maggie is determined and doesn’t back down from the challenges and questions that are unfolding. Everyone and everything is more than they seem.
KA Tucker is talented in pulling the reader physically and mentally into her stories. Her writing is an escape to another life, but at the end we come back to reality and revel in these new friends and acquaintances we got to know through her words.
